Summer
is finally here! I just want to be outside and play, which makes it hard
for me to nap or go to bed at night. My parents don't seem to understand
how fun it is to play. School is over and I miss it. I ask my Mom often
to go to school (the toddler classes we used to go together). I have been
going to toddler gymnastic class and I enjoy that. I mostly enjoy running
around and jumping on that treadmill like kind of a thing that they have
there. My parents like it because it makes me tired and usually ready
for bed after that. I like to sing, my favorite songs are twinkle twinkle
little star, the ABC song, the Bubble Bee song and, Kakalakanga, (an Oshiwambo
song). I am still enjoying books. My parents just found that I have memorized
some of my favorite books. Meme was surprised when she read a word wrong
and I corrected her and how I sometimes end sentences for her, when she
seem slow. I understand a lot of Oshiwambo, but speaks more English. I
can't climb much and am afraid of things that I'm not familiar with. I
am still trying to get better eating by myself with utensils. I enjoy
my little sister a lot and can't wait for her to grow a little bit more,
so we can play together. Meme says it will happen soon, before I know
it we are chasing each other.

My
baby sister is here. Her name is Kauna. I call her Baby Kauna. I like
to touch her gentle on her head. My parents says I'm a good brother to
her. I like to watch her when she is asleep and I don't like it when she
cry and has a blanket on, this is probably because I don't like to sleep
with a blanket on me.

I'm two! If you ask me how old I'm, that's what I will say. I had a beautiful
birthday! My parents made me a beautiful carrot cake, which I refuse to
taste. I am not a fan of baked goods yet, beside bread. I won't eat any
cake, banana bread, cookies, etc. I had a few friends over to celebrate
my birthday with and I enjoyed opening my gifts and birthday cards. I
also liked it when everybody sang Happy Birthday song to me, after that
I wanted my parents to sing it to me again and again for a few days.

Sorry for the late update. I have been very busy playing with Meme's cousins
who are here visiting us from Namibia. They are teaching me a lot of Oshiwambo
words and songs and I like to do a lot of things with them. When they
leave the house without me, I like to run around the house calling their
names and trying to find them. I 'm really going to miss them when they
return back to Namibia, but let's not talk about that right now, since
they are still here for a while. Well, I'm now... how old am I again?
I think I'm 21 months old turning 22 months old soon. I am now saying
things like, "eenghaku (shoes) for Meme (Mom), opuwo, onda kuta (I'm
done eating or I'm full), red cool car, yellow ombaka (duck), etc. I'm
still into cars, trains, puzzles, books, etc. These days I am enjoying
books like Green Eggs and Ham by Dr Seuss, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish,
Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss and Are you my Mother? by PD Eastman.

These days I'm into puzzles and coloring. I enjoy putting puzzles together
and coloring in my book. Meme and Tate don't like it when I start to write
everywhere. I'm also saying a few more words now, both in English and
Oshiwambo. I enjoy playing with my friends too.
